Electrical installation, simply explained

Electric sauna heaters need a dedicated circuit (heater options for this cabin run up to 6.0kW), wired in by a qualified electrician before first use. It's a routine job, similar in scope to installing an electric shower or an EV charger.

  • Must be installed by an NICEIC or Part P certified electrician, to BS 7671 standards
  • Worth getting a quote before delivery, so your sauna is ready to use as soon as it's built
  • Full wiring specifications are included in the product manual

A sauna built for three, with a genuinely different build in the range. This is our Liekki line, Finnish for flame, and it takes a different construction approach entirely: insulated panel walls rather than solid log.

The steam room and its separate 2.1 m² front area are built from an insulated panel system, a foam core wrapped in 16mm interior cladding, made from sustainably sourced Nordic spruce. A large fixed, tinted double-glazed aluminium window floods the room with light while keeping it private, and the double-glazed door carries the same smokey glass with a secure multi-locking system. Two-level aspen benches keep the seating comfortable throughout. The timber roof and fixings are included, with a weatherproof roof covering available as an extra: add our self-adhesive EPDM below, or fit your own felt or membrane.

Choose your heater below. Given the large glass window, we've sized the electric options slightly up from a comparably-sized log cabin, and our Harvia wood-fired set is also available. Delivered in a flat-pack kit and self-assembled over a weekend.

Installation & electrics

All electrical work must be carried out by an NICEIC or Part P certified electrician to BS 7671 standards. This is arranged directly by you and is not included in the sauna price.

The sauna must be erected on a firm, level base with a damp-proof membrane beneath the first row of timber.

Please check all components against the parts list before beginning assembly, and contact us before you start if anything is missing, damaged or incorrect.

Care & warranty

5-year structural warranty covering the timber and joinery, running from the date of delivery.

Exterior timber supplied untreated must be treated with a suitable wood preservative as soon as assembly is complete, and maintained, to keep the warranty valid.

Natural timber may show knots, grain variation, or minor surface marks. These are characteristics of real wood, not defects.

Full terms are in our Warranty Policy.
